A Match In The Night: A Ludy Lescot Inspired Spread by Glass Owl / Leviosa Crimson

Here is a version of this spread which includes lyric snippets from The Smashing Pumpkin's song, "The Beginning Of The End Is The Beginning."


This spread was inspired by one of the Latin phrases on the card backs which means: "Everything which has a beginning must also have an end." This in turn, made me think about the Smashing Pumpkin's song "The Beginning Is The End Is The Beginning."

The barely-visible words printed on the tuck box have also been incorporated into this spread. They are difficult to see as they are printed in light purple near the symbols.


The words are: Desperation, End, Sunset, Conflict, Death, Hope, Beginning, Dawn, Peace, and Life.


The BEGINNING of the END:

The DEATH of the day is fast approaching. Shuffle your deck of cards and imagine that you are observing a beautiful SUNSET of orange and purple.
